The Vegetarian Way - Week TWO

The two week mark was officially hit yesterday, 3/22, and I must say, this is the easiest goal I have ever attempted to attain.

Challenge? No.

Cravings? No.

Withdrawls? No!

The only difficulty that I have found myself having is selection when going out to…. well, the restaurants the meat eaters in my circle opt to go to.  Last night we went to Lapellah and even the salads were laden with meat! Grilled Steak Salads, Bacon Spinach Salads, Asian Chicken Salads, must I go on?
Hmm, well maybe I could order an entrée?
Not if I want my entrée to be animal friendly.
So with my choices being between a Green Salad, a Caesar Salad, a Wedge Salad, Grits or Spinach Artichoke Dip I had to go with the dip.  That’s right, Spinach Artichoke Dip for DINNER.  Why is it that in our society meat is expected in every single meal? Do chefs not think that vegetarians out there need to get balanced fare?  Or am I expected to get that from Grits or a Wedge Salad (iceburg lettuce, onions and dressing)??
And they wonder why our society is so unhealthy.
